Pre-Sales Consultant

We are looking for a talented and driven Pre-Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with the sales and technical teams to provide expert guidance and create tailored solutions for our clients. You will be the key technical advisor, working closely with clients to understand their business needs and offering solutions that leverage cutting-edge technology.

As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will actively contribute to the sales cycle by developing and presenting technical proposals, conducting product demonstrations, and managing the technical relationship with prospects. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong technical background and a passion for working with clients to drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.

  • Deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and workshops tailored to the client’s specific needs.

  • Design and present technical solutions that align with customer requirements, including detailed proposals and product configurations.

  • Assist with the preparation of RFP responses, proposals, and tender submissions.

  • Conduct technical assessments and workshops with clients to explore their pain points and requirements.

  • Respond to technical questions, concerns, and objections raised by prospects, providing expert-level insights and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs and are feasible within technical constraints.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitive offerings to ensure the delivery of up-to-date solutions.

  • Build strong relationships with prospects and customers, acting as the go-to technical expert throughout the sales process.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Solution Architect in the IT or technology sector.

  • Strong technical knowledge in areas such as Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Networking, Data & AI, or Enterprise Applications.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience in preparing and delivering customer-specific technical proposals and RFP responses.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically under pressure.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.

  • Experience with CRM tools and sales processes.

£90,000 - £100,000
