With a dynamic team and an ambitious growth strategy, we are seeking a highly experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to drive revenue growth, optimise commercial performance, and lead the sales, marketing, and customer success teams.

Role Overview:

As CRO, you will be responsible for defining and executing the company’s revenue strategy, ensuring sustainable growth across all revenue streams. Leading a team of 27, you will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams to optimise the entire revenue funnel. You will play a critical role in customer acquisition, retention, and expansion, driving data-led decision-making to enhance performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Growth & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue growth strategy aligned with business goals.

  • Drive top-line revenue growth by optimising sales, marketing, and customer success efforts.

  • Establish and refine revenue forecasting models, ensuring predictable and scalable growth.

  • Identify new revenue opportunities, including market expansion, partnerships, and upselling/cross-selling strategies.

  • Continuously assess pricing models and revenue streams to maximise profitability.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing commercial team of 27 across sales, marketing, and customer success.

  • Foster a data-driven and results-oriented culture, ensuring accountability across all teams.

  • Develop leadership capabilities within the team, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders.

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, CFO, and other executives to align commercial efforts with overall business strategy.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Oversee sales strategy, ensuring the team meets and exceeds revenue targets.

  • Drive enterprise sales and strategic partnerships to accelerate business growth.

  • Implement best-in-class sales processes, tools, and performance metrics.

  • Ensure effective lead generation, pipeline management, and conversion optimisation.

Marketing & Demand Generation:

  • Collaborate with marketing to refine customer acquisition strategies and improve brand positioning.

  • Leverage data analytics to optimise marketing spend and campaign effectiveness.

  • Ensure alignment between marketing and sales teams to drive qualified leads and reduce churn.

Customer Success & Retention:

  • Oversee customer success initiatives, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention rates.

  • Implement customer lifecycle strategies that maximise lifetime value and reduce churn.

  • Leverage customer feedback and data insights to improve product-market fit.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), VP of Sales, or similar leadership role in a software or eCommerce business.

  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth in a £50M+ turnover company.

  • Experience managing and scaling commercial teams of 20+ people.

  • Deep understanding of SaaS, eCommerce, digital marketing, and customer acquisition strategies.

  • Expertise in data-driven revenue optimisation, including forecasting, pricing strategies, and customer segmentation.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Hands-on approach with a strategic mindset, capable of balancing short-term execution with long-term vision.

  • Experience in international expansion and go-to-market strategy is a plus.
