Senior Business Development Manager

This role focuses on identifying, qualifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities in the IT solutions space. The position requires leveraging a diverse portfolio of technologies, products, and services to drive sales success. A key aspect of the role is coordinating across a matrixed team to ensure a seamless approach to new business development while applying consultative selling techniques to create compelling value propositions. The role also involves ensuring proposed solutions align with delivery capabilities and fostering strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Targeting new business opportunities with large, complex prospective clients.Driving cross-selling of technology and services across various business units and industries.Conducting in-depth market and prospect research using internal and external data sources.Building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.Leading consultative sales engagements, understanding client needs, and tailoring solutions accordingly.Collaborating internally and externally to introduce, apply, and evaluate IT solutions and services.Continuously identifying opportunities to expand business reach through industry events and strategic initiatives.

Requirements for Success:

Proven track record in sales, preferably in tech-enabled solutions.Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand client challenges and provide tailored solutions.Experience in managed services.Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.Ability to establish and maintain long-term, trusted client relationships.

Salary:

Up To £120,000 - £140,000 basic with double uncapped commission
